Funding Opportunities: Proposal Preparations

Have you ever thought about writing a grant proposal? It’s not as hard as it seems. Doing a little research, following the guidelines, and writing to the criteria should make for a winning proposal.

Getting funding for specials projects can be literally “rewarding” for you, your department, your college, and the community. The California Educational Technology Collaborative grant experts can offer support and advice as you prepare your technology grant proposal for submission.

Our experts have also included Proposal Writing Tips on this Web site. Tips are offered to help potential grantees to think about proposals from the grantors perspective, including hints on how to make your proposal grab the attention of the reader.

In addition, the Foundation for California Community Colleges offers fiscal services to support technology grants. When applicable, the Foundation may be able to assume accounting responsibilities, releasing a local college or district from this burden. To learn more, visit Using FCCC as a Fiscal Agent.
